Mask Architects designs a cavernous villa in Sardinia

European structure company Mask Architects has shared renderings of a proposed luxurious villa that resembles a white, seaside café. Informed by nearby Sardinian architecture and electronic modeling software, the task — dubbed the Villa G01 “Rock and Cave” exclusive — has been proposed for a person of the most unique spots of Northern Sardinia and celebrates indoor/outdoor living with a substantial backyard garden, roomy terraces and openings that supply panoramic sights of the sea.

Mask Architects’ Villa G01 is a new interpretation of the sculptural properties created by Jacques Couëlle, a self-taught French architect who was nicknamed “the architect of billionaires” immediately after his luxurious and fanciful models manufactured from carved concrete. Like Antoni Gaudí, Couëlle followed a design of organic and natural architecture that emphasizes a relationship with mother nature. Mask Architects seeks to establish on Couëlle’s legacy in Sardinia by using fashionable computer modeling and robotic design to achieve Villa G01’s sculptural and natural design.

The home’s curved concrete exterior shell evokes imagery of Sardinian rocks. Encouraged by the organic voids produced in these rocks by means of the method of erosion, the exterior curves inward to develop sheltered outside terraces. The relationship to character is strengthened by the villa’s placement in a significant backyard landscaped with native trees, crops and stones. The outdoor space also consists of an infinity pool that the architects say can be manufactured from prefabricated, significant-density polyurethane blocks utilizing KUKA robotics milling. It would then be set up onsite with a particular metal framework and a varnish of gelcoat.

The conceptual seafront villa comprises five bedrooms with beautiful sights as very well as a spacious residing place that connects seamlessly to the outdoors via folding glass walls. An out of doors kitchen area with a eating table, out of doors cinema and a sunbathing and multipurpose area organized all around the pool prolong the footprint of the 4,000-sq.-meter house.
