Students design skateboard wheels made from chewing gum

Two design college students from the L’École de Style Nantes Atlantique in France are imagining methods to overcome this silent air pollution issue creatively. Hugo Maupetit and Vivian Fischer have established a concept that turns used chewing gum into skateboard wheels.

They obtained the concept though brainstorming for a created-focused way to tackle the gum pollution challenge in city locations. “We imagined, why not take this attribute waste of the metropolis and use it to make it greener,” Maupetit and Fischer advised Inhabitat. “The daring colors and texture of chewing gum is the ideal match for use in skatewheels.” The plan is to deliver the gum from the streets back again to the streets in a sustainable way.

The pupils envisioned a fictional partnership concerning Mentos, 1 of Europe’s greatest chewing gum producers, and Vans Europe, a common maker of skateboarding sneakers and accessories.
